Maybe technology can't make the world go around, but it has a knack for pointing us in the right direction.  In early 2012 the Trivalent Group declared war on mediocrity and began a renewed pursuit of excellence; outlined in our Declaration of Excellence.  Out of the Declaration of Excellence came an idea hatched by the professional services team to combine our passion for IT with our desire to give back to the communities we serve.  From that initial concept, we created the compassionIT (tm) Award.

The Mission to increase awareness for the non-profit community and those whom they serve will come to a crescendo today as we announce the recipient. 
Our goal to award a technology improvement project to a Michigan charity culminates today with the selection of the Winner. The winning charity has been chosen from online submissions made by either the organization itself or nominations from the community at large.  The criteria for selection as the winner was based on both popular vote (online), a screening committee made up of Trivalent team members, and ultimately the Final Review Board consisting of 6 physical members and the Virtual "Public" Vote as a seventh. 

Through a generous, last minute enhanced donation from Zenith Infotech, Ltd., Trivalent Group was able to nearly double the original award allowing us to provide two additional grants!!!  Catherine's Health Center is the recipient of the main award valued at $30,000, Gilda's will receive approximately $15,000 and Degage receives $5,000!  In addition all five finalist receive a GPS4Business Assessment and Technology Roadmap.  Congratulations to all 5 Finalists.
